Mt. Hakkenzan is a small mountain located in the south of Sapporo, only 40 minutes driving from central Sapporo.
It is a hard climbing even though its height and climbing time.
You can go up and down within 2 hours.
A nice hiking course for both beginners and intermediates.

After the exciting hike, enjoy Canadian Canoe with superb views! It is a short round trip of just 1 km, but this is the only place where you can look up spectacular views of Jozankei from below.
