Half-day Tenkara fly fishing experience

A trip to observe Hokkaido's native trout.

Enjoy ‘Tenkara’ fly fishing in the Shari river in Kiyosato – located between Shiretoko National Park and Akan-Mashu Naional Park.

The river is so well reserved that even beginners can catch native trouts.

The catches are Masu salmon, Dolly varden charr and White-spotted char. 

Every year Chum salmon, Pink salmon, Masu Salmon run upstream the Shari river in massive numbers – the largest number in Japan.

Shari river is one of the last river in Japan, where the very rare big fish ‘Itou’ Japanese Huchen can be seen.

In the late summer to autumn, you can observe spawning of salmons.

 

☆'Tenkara’ is traditional Japanese fly fishing With this simple fishing tackle, you can easily catch fish.

The whole equipment is ready and included in the price, just come and join us.

8:00am or 1:00pm Pick up from Kiyo-ru  (Town of Kiyosato Hokkaido)

Please contact us for the price for pickup time at other place.

 

8:30am~11:30 , 1:30pm~4:30 Fishing on the Shari river 

 

12:00pm or 4:30 Drop off at Kiyo-ru

Private half-day tour

(based on 2-3 participants)  ¥12,000 per person 

In case of bad weather we(HPA) may cancel the fishing trip for guests safety and no fee will be charged.
